An introduction to Mundus

Mundus, the natural world, known also by it's Thirilian name; Ílendor, meaning "Middle World".  Mundus contains races varying from common Men to mysterious Elves, and the small, capricious Gnomes to the tall, calculating Vadarin.  Mundus is a vast world, consisting of three continents: Thedea, which derives it's name from the ancient, continent-spanning Theden Empire, and is home to all the civilized realms of the mortal races; Dahkrim, the untamed Shattered Lands, which holds many mysteries and secrets of the Elder Age; and the Northmark, an icebound continent north of Thedea, filled with great beasts and cunning Dark Elves.   Mundus ranges from huge, dry deserts, to lush jungles, from the arcane realm of the fey to the underground domain of the dwarves, and all lands in between. Mundus is an ancient world, and has a long, vast history; bards, a rather distinct and exalted position, hardly know where to begin. Being such a long, complex history, Mundus has many tales and stories that are told and retold all over the world.
